General promotion of the democratic state:
The German Federal Association for Sustainability supports and advises organs and institutions of the state and society in the implementation of sustainable and balance-oriented action on legislative, planning and decision-making processes by providing expertise, by identifying potential for optimization and by submissions, publications and own events.
The German Federal Association for Sustainability participates through publications, opinions and own events, also in cooperation with other appropriate bodies, on the academic and public debate on this topic.
The German Federal Association for Sustainability contributes to the establishment of sustainability-related bodies in society, politics and administration, and support their work.
Facilitate the development cooperation:
The German Federal Association for Sustainability supports the implementation of international sustainability strategies through awareness of society, politics and administration for global issues and the need for development cooperation, as well as by promoting and initiating private, municipal and regional one-world engagements.
Promotion of science and research, art and culture:
The German Federal Association for Sustainability promotes and supports the arts-science dialogue as a means of expression and sustainable knowledge transfer.
Promotion of education, adult and vocational education:
The German Federal Association for Sustainability gives opportunity to all social actors to inform themselves about sustainability / balance orientation through talks and lectures, discussions, symposiums, conferences, publications and related activities.
