Sustainability needs lobby in the best sense: You!
As a lobbyist association the German Federal Association for Sustainability tends to give decision-makers in politics, administration, economy and society support in decision-making and argumentation both at the national and the international level.
The German Federal Association for Sustainability is supported by „members“ and by „sponsors“. By becoming a member you will get the option of using your expertise to influence legislative projects. Within the context of the German Federal Association for Sustainability you perform groundwork so that the term “sustainability” will be better understood and that far-sighted action and global (in the sense of “comprehensive”) thinking is involved in processes.

Becoming a regular member
… of the German Federal Association for Sustainability is possible for any natural or legal person who wants to actively promote the objectives of the association.
Stock exchange listed companies and companies which are not SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) in the sense of the definition of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises of the EU commission 2003/361 can get a membership only if they have given a so-called Declaration of conformity with the German Sustainability Code of the German Council for Sustainable Development and if this declaration can be viewed publicly at the council online.
Legal persons are represented by one (in numbers: 1) natural person. The power of attorney can be bound to a local function.

Becoming a sponsor
… of the German Federal Association for Sustainability is possible for any natural or legal person who wants to actively promote the objectives of the association.
At the suggestion of the Executive Committee the General Assembly of the German Federal Association for Sustainability can award sponsors with a special promotion as honorary life members in recognition of their special sponsorship. Beyond this a very special recognition is the admission to the Honorary Board of the German Federal Association for Sustainability.
Both recognitions may be awarded posthumously or remain after death.
